Rules & Important Info

Welcome to the NFL 2025-2026 Season of RG Suicide Pool!

Hosted on SplashSports, formerly RunYourPool.  If you have a RYP account already, it's the same login information.

This works just like any other suicide pool.  You choose one team per week to win, straight up.  You are not picking against the spread.  If you win, you stay alive.  If you lose, you're eliminated.  Ties and missed picks are counted as a loss.  Teams may only be used once per season so pick strategically.  You may choose from any game on the Thursday-Monday slate and your pick must be entered before kickoff for the chosen team.  By game time, the game will lock and you will no longer be able to select or change your entry.

Each entry is $20 and you may have as many entries as you want.  After you sign up/log in and click "add entries" you can add as many as you want, up to 100.  You can always add more before season-opening kickoff by clicking "my contests" at the top, clicking your account, and then "add entries".  Please make sure to tell me or any unpaid entries will be removed before season start.  Your account will be "pending" until confirmation of receipt of entry fee.

There are no mid-season buy-ins.  All entries must be set up and accounted for before the start of the season.  Once we get down to the final 5 entries, I will reach out to all of those remaining to discuss whether to split the pot or keep playing.  The decision to split must be unanimous, otherwise you keep playing.  I will reach out each week thereafter with the same question until there's one entry left standing or the decision is made to split.
